Terms of Use
Effective date: October 14, 2026
These terms describe the permitted use of The True Freedom Project website and its materials. The True Freedom Project is an educational initiative based in Wisconsin, United States. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the people operating the initiative under that name. The project name is not a representation that the initiative is incorporated or has tax-exempt recognition.
Please read these terms together with our Privacy & Cookies policy and Educational Disclaimer. Questions can be sent to hello@truefreedomproject.com.
Purpose and audience
The website provides educational information and links to resources. It is intended for adults aged 18 and over, primarily in the United States. It does not provide emergency response or individualized professional services through the website or general email correspondence.
The current site does not sell products or services, accept payments or donations, offer user accounts, or operate a public discussion community. Any future service with additional terms will be identified separately.
Using the website
You may browse the website and use the materials within the permissions described below. Please do not use the site to break the law, impersonate others, send threats or abusive messages, introduce malicious software, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access to systems or information.
You must not present yourself as a representative of The True Freedom Project or imply that we sponsor, approve, or endorse your work without permission. We may take reasonable steps to restrict misuse or protect the website and its visitors.
Ownership and sharing
Original materials remain the property of their creator or other relevant rights holder. Making materials available through The True Freedom Project does not transfer their ownership to visitors.
You may share links to public pages. For original resources that we have authority to license, you may also download and distribute unchanged copies for personal or noncommercial educational use, provided you credit The True Freedom Project, preserve any existing notices and third-party credits, and include a link to the source where reasonably possible.
Selling the materials, making adaptations, or republishing them commercially requires prior written permission from the relevant rights holder. Permission to share resources does not include permission to use the project’s name or logo to brand your own product, organization, or service, or to suggest endorsement.
Third-party writing, photographs, recordings, logos, and other materials remain subject to their owners’ rights and any separate terms identified with them. This permission does not override those rights or restrict uses independently permitted by law, including fair use.
For permission requests or a concern about intellectual property, contact hello@truefreedomproject.com. Identify the material, its location, and the right or permission involved.
Messages and contributions
Sending an email does not transfer ownership of your message or give us an unrestricted right to publish your story, name, image, or other material. We may read and handle it to respond and manage the matter, as described in our Privacy & Cookies policy.
Public contributions, testimonials, guest recordings, or other publication arrangements require separate permission. Please do not send materials that you are not entitled to share. We do not guarantee a reply to every inquiry or accept an obligation to provide ongoing support merely because you contact us.
External resources and availability
Links and resource listings are provided for convenience. Inclusion does not establish an affiliation or guarantee a provider’s quality, suitability, eligibility requirements, availability, costs, or privacy practices. Check those details directly with the provider before relying on a service or sharing personal information.
We may correct, update, remove, or reorganize content and may interrupt access for maintenance, security, or other operational reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or continued availability of every resource.
Disclaimers and limits
To the extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of completeness, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted availability. The Educational Disclaimer explains the limits of the information provided and forms part of these terms.
To the extent permitted by law, the website’s operators and contributors are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, the website. This provision does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. It does not waive nonwaivable rights concerning privacy, accessibility, consumer protection, fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other protected matters.
Applicable law and changes
Wisconsin law and applicable United States federal law govern these terms, except where mandatory law gives you protections that cannot be displaced. Nothing here requires you to waive a nonwaivable right or submit a dispute to arbitration.
We may update these terms by posting a revised version with an updated date. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove rights already accrued. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted by law.
