About
Built from lived experience.
The True Freedom Project began because too much of what is available to people in real trouble is either gated behind a system that is hard to navigate or watered down by performance. The map here, from survival through structure, capacity, and contribution to freedom, is what actually worked.
It is built for people who do not have time for theory. Veterans, first responders, people in recovery, and people supporting someone they love. People who are exhausted, skeptical, and still here.
The site is small on purpose. It exists to point you toward real support rather than to keep you on the page, so every link goes somewhere useful.
A note on language.
We use plain words on purpose. Trauma-informed does not mean soft, it means honest, clear, and respectful of what people are carrying. If you have been in a foxhole, an ambulance, or your own kitchen at 3 a.m., this is for you.
