Educational Disclaimer

Effective date: October 14, 2026

The True Freedom Project is an educational initiative. Its content is intended to inform, encourage reflection, and help people explore information and sources of support. It is not individualized professional advice.

Not professional care or advice

Content may discuss wellbeing, relationships, spirituality, addiction, trauma, or other aspects of life. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, psychotherapy, legal advice, or financial advice, or a substitute for a qualified professional familiar with your circumstances.

Using the website or corresponding with the project does not establish a clinical, therapeutic, or other professional advisory relationship. A contributor’s qualifications do not turn general educational content into individualized care.

Do not delay seeking appropriate help, disregard professional advice, or change prescribed treatment solely because of something on this website. Decisions about your health or care should be discussed with an appropriately qualified professional.

Not an emergency service

The project and its email inbox are not emergency or crisis-response services. Messages are not continuously monitored. Do not email the project when urgent assistance is needed.

In the United States, call 911 for an immediate emergency. For suicide, mental health, or emotional crisis support, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. Veterans, service members, and people concerned about them can call 988 and press 1, or text 838255, to reach the Veterans Crisis Line. Outside the United States, contact your local emergency number or an appropriate local crisis service.

These are independent services, not services operated by The True Freedom Project.

Personal experience, evidence, and outcomes

Personal accounts and opinions describe the experiences or views of the person sharing them. They do not establish scientific proof or predict another person’s results. Spiritual or philosophical interpretations are presented as perspectives, not medical findings.

Educational information and research summaries may be incomplete or become outdated. Different people may need different kinds of support. We do not promise a particular outcome, improvement, or result from reading, listening to, or using any material.

Independent resources and affiliations

References to programs, professionals, organizations, or Twelve-Step fellowships do not indicate an official affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement unless expressly stated. The project is not an official representative of Alcoholics Anonymous or other independent fellowships mentioned on the site.

A listed resource or an introduction is not a guarantee of suitability, safety, availability, confidentiality, or results. Check relevant details directly with the organization or professional concerned. The project does not control their services or replace their own terms and policies.
